Employment Services
Within Employment Services, individuals at Global Health Link work one on one with a job coach to explore, plan, find and sustain a job which contributes to their overall life goals. This includes:
- Educational visits to community businesses to learn about employment opportunities
- Peer-to-peer mentoring opportunities to meet and learn from those currently employed in competitive jobs
- Individualized, strengths-based assessments and employment opportunity discovery strategies
- Development of job applications, resume and cover letters
- Skills training to find and succeed in a job, such as interviewing, using community resources and resume writing
- Job coaching and training to strengthen and maintain necessary work skills, behaviors and coworker relationships
